One of the more enjoyable things about a reunion is the planning. In a sense it is a lot like seeing a project come together, there
are recollections, to five paragraph field orders, and on this site, WARNING orders. In the end, it has to happen, and my only standard,
is something like when the Glee Club which Emily, Tommy Walker and I were in, did MESSIAH before Christmas '66. A sense of Pride.
Danforth, Alan Dunaway, Emily Plummer, Bob Ridgway, Ron and Carol Kelley, Rosemary Jiles, Dixie and Bill Turman, Alice Ayliffe, Tom
McLaughlin and I. Since I missed a couple of these sessions (Columbus - Dahlonega) I know there are more faces than I am able to assemble
YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, so send me pics. To that end, below are photographs made going back in time from Marietta, Dahlonega, Columbus,
A beautiful November morning in S. Georgia .... no gnats. Ron Kelley and Bob Ridgway are up. (Actually there are few photos, Buddha, Danforth and Kirbo were there and after a bit we were joined by Emily DeLong Plummer.

Ronnie and Carol Kelley hosted a meeting on Saturday, the last day of June. See Photo below. At this session we started to narrow
the focus and discuss problems we were having and their resolution. Along with that the details of the entertainment, music mix, last
call, golf, hiking, fishing, how much time to allow for us to simply BS were all discussed.
In attendance were: Bob Danforth, Ted Sheldon,
Ralph Foster, Emily Plummer, Alice Ayliffe, Rosemary Jiles, Warren Kirbo, Alan Dunaway, Tom McLaughlin and of course, Carol and Ronnie
Kelley. Not shown (taking the photo) is Gitta Foster and included are Emily and Alan's "better halves": Phillip (a 'defrocked' Cadet
'61) and Jerri (NGC '71).
At our Planning Meeting in Marietta on 30 June, Rosemary Jiles joined us and brought along several memory refreshing photographs.
They will be posted on the LEWIS HALL PAGE as soon as I get these old photographs from her album cleaned up and scanned.
As with the
Corps, ladies, I solicit your stories. Be sure to contact any of us on the CONTACTS page and get into the E-mail debates .... they
range from residency policy to 'Seabolt' tales.
Whether used on the site or not, the originals will be kept with the NGC LIBRARY as
a resourcefor historians who might want detail for stories on North Georgia.

JUNE 30th - MARIETTA
Parents and Alumni Weekend in Dahlonega, April 2007
Whilst Mr Danforth struck photographs, Mr. McLaughlin and Mr. Brown pose
with transport of yesterday and today. A careful look behind
Mr. Brown will show Mr. Ridgway, who also attended.
That was also Honors Weekend, and a parade was in order. No matter what the year or circumstance, a color guard is impressive.
